The handy mp3 search engine, Hype Machine, has presented the top 50 artists, albums and songs of 2010 which they call Music Blog Zeitgeist. 950 top ten lists don't lie - this is the cream of the crop. You can read all about how they calculated the lists on their site.

But what's more, Hype Machine have collaborated with 50 visual artists who have made a drawing each for one of the top 50 artists. Inspiring stuff! You can also stream full tracks off the albums via Grooveshark.

If you want more eye candy I can recommend Daytrotter who do illustrated portraits of their featured artists. Music still loves art in the age of mp3:s!
